Humans are pack animals… We are meant to be social and connected to each other.


But here’s the sad truth…


With the rise in mental health, and the decline in direct social interactions (Thanks to the pandemic and technology) we are becoming socially awkward and disconnected.


And you know this is true.


Let’s be honest. It’s the 21st Century… I mean, who Isn’t Socially awkward?!


I know I was… And sometimes still am…


How Microdosing Permanently Transformed My Relationship To…


Everyone!


But first, microdosing mushrooms transformed my relationship to myself…


Because THAT is where social anxiety starts.


For most of my life I have suffered pretty severely from social anxiety…


The kind of social anxiety where if I saw someone familiar on the street, I would pull up my hood, put on some wrap around sunglasses, pop my collar… and scurry down the street like I was a killer on the loose…


I had zero social skills unless I was really comfortable around someone…


I was the awkward guy at the party that stood in the corner and pretended to know how to dance…


And if I met new people…? Words would fumble out of my mouth like I was speaking some form of broken English…


Then one day I discovered this magical thing called a microdose…


And I started actively setting the intention to let go of all forms of anxiety and embody my truest and best self…


It took some time… But now I am actually EXCITED (instead of anxious…) to go out and meet new people…


I love the thrill of not knowing what is going to happen in an interaction… And what kind of new friends I may discover…


And the best part…?


This is true WITH or WITHOUT a microdose…


I do not rely on them any longer… I have found permanent relief from social anxiety.


That being said, I do still experience it sometimes… Like if I find myself speaking with a gorgeous woman…


But I know how to NAVIGATE that anxiety, so I am functional…

Social anxiety is fairly simple when you break it down…


The main causes are…

  • Poor self worth

  • Lack of Confidence

  • Inability to be Present in the body

  • Unexpressed emotional energy


Of course there is always more depending on a given individual, but this is a good starting place…


So let’s break this down a little bit.







Poor Self Worth


So many people believe they are unworthy of love. This causes all sorts of neurotic behavior in order to “earn” love… “I need to do something to be worthy of Love…”.


But here is the thing. Love is unconditional. You do not need to do ANYTHING to be worthy of love. Because if that were true, it would not be actual love…


Don’t know what I am talking about? Spend a day in nature with your microdose! Nature LOVES you no matter what… I guarantee it.



Lack Of Confidence


Confidence comes in several forms… One is from competence. When we become competent (AKA “skilled”), we become confident…


Social anxiety is a vicious cycle because we continually prove to ourselves we are socially incomptent. But the truth of the matter is that they call them social skills for a reason! It takes skill to become a good socializer.


Basically… Just go out and PRACTICE! Make idle chit chat… Especially with people you don’t know, and with people you will likely never see again. People at cafes, grocery stores, or restaurants… You could even go one town over and spend a whole day just making conversation with people.


Be prepared to feel foolish, and maybe even look silly… But once you break that edge, you will become competent, Then you will be CONFIDENT!


The other form of Confidence is around your Sense of self…


When you have a weak sense of self, you naturally lack confidence. When you know who you are, and what you stand for, there is a natural confidence that exudes. This takes facing your FEARS and learning to be ALONE.


And when I say alone… I mean alone and PRESENT with yourself… No distractions. This is where microdosing in nature is KEY.


When you microdose alone in Nature, you begin to understand WHO you truly are… and you will be pleasantly surprised.


In short, confidence is a byproduct of a strong sense of self. Social anxiety can’t coexist here.



Inability To Be Present In The Body…


We have so many social conditionings and beliefs around who we should be… How we should look… How we should act..


Should… Should… Should…


These programs run deep. Beyond the conscious mind.


So when you begin a social interaction, especially with someone new, all these start to run in the background… And that is a LOT of feeling in the body…


The main feeling? Fear.


If I don’t do what I am “supposed” to, or what I “Should” do… Then I will die.


Plain and simple.


If this person rejects me or dislikes me, I will die. Of course this is not true, but try telling that to the unconscious!


And so it is just a process of FEELING all this fear and conditioning… And eventually overcoming it through presence. It will take time, but you have your whole life to figure it out!


Microdosing is a great tool for embodiment and presence.



Unexpressed Emotional Energy


Emotions are Energy-In-Motion. They have tremendous force and power. When they are unexpressed, they become dammed like a river. Furthermore, they become STUCK in your body.


Then they start blocking all sorts of energy flows… And all that power and force of a river is STUCK. But it WANTS to move so badly…


Eventually the dam breaks… Which is pretty much when we snap and have an emotional breakdown.


But in the meantime, all that energy starts looking for other avenues of expression…


So instead of anger, sadness, rage, or whatever emotion is unexpressed, you experience anxiety.


Learn to feel. Learn to express your emotions.


Take a microdose with that intention. Set a day aside and just be… We find breathwork, movement and SOUND is very helpful.


The BEST and EASIEST way to express emotion is through sound…


What does sadness sound like? Anger? Rage? Anxiety?


Give it a sound and make that sound with ALL your being… Until there is no more sound left. I bet your anxiety will be WAY better after that…



It Takes MORE Than A Microdose…





So as you can tell, microdosing can be pretty AMAZING helpers for your social anxiety. The thing is… It usually takes MORE than just popping a pill…


I mean sure, at first the microdose will take the anxious edge off, so that you can actually FUNCTION…

But soon enough you gotta face your shadow, integrate it, and overcome it… So you can live from your Truest and Best Self.


And life will be SO much better from that place. We guarantee.
