How to Set a Microdosing Intention…




Setting your microdosing intention is so important... It is simple.


This guide is to help you set an optimal microdosing intention... So you are set up for success!


Ok Let's jump in...


Why It is so Important to get your Microdosing intention "right"...


Years ago, I was working in the mountains doing Permaculture. At the time, I was suffering quite a bit… I felt disconnected, lost and confused…


I knew there was more to life… I knew that I could experience joy, bliss and love everyday…


But I wasn’t. And I deeply desired this to change…


I wanted SO DEEPLY to live everyday from my heart…


So I declared it that day.


I aligned a burning fire in my will, with the desire for a heartfelt life…


I did not know how it would work, or when it would happen… But I CHOSE it that day.


Key word: Chose.


Can you feel the difference between choosing something…?


Rather than saying “I would really like to live in my heart…”


Choosing is declaring it the Universe as if it has already happened… Most people intend for something as if it may not happen…


They may speak it, but they don’t 100% believe it is possible…


In fact, they may actually deeply doubt that it will ever happen for them.


Here’s the truth though, WHATEVER your intention is… Someone in the history of humankind has achieved it.


If one person can do it, you can do it too… Guaranteed.


In fact, once one person has achieved something, it becomes easier for another person. It is part of the collective consciousness of humankind…


So whatever your intention is… Choose it. Declare it. Decide it to be so…


Intention Is Everything…


Your microdosing journey begins and ends with your intention… This is like your “North Star”. I encourage you to take some time to contemplate this deeply.


When setting an intention, there are two main aspects.


  1. The pain/negativity you are moving away from.

  2. The pleasure/positivity you are moving towards.


For example… If someone is suffering from anxiety, they are likely moving away from the daily pain of anxiety… And they are moving towards a life of peace and joy.


There is a nuance to this though…


Laying the Foundation for Your Perfect Microdosing Intention…


It is important to go beyond the surface when creating your intention… So let's create a good foundation.


Often there are deeper memories, traumas, patterns and shadows in our mental health struggles…


Basically, mental health problems are shrouded in Darkness. The subconscious mind has stored negativity and trapped emotions. These are expressed through depression, anxiety, ADHD, addictions etc.


To say “I am anxious” or “I am depressed”... Is VERY broad. We need to go deeper…


It’s kind of like saying “I am tired/fatigued…” - Are you tired because you didn’t get a good sleep last night…? Because you’re overworked…? Is it diet related? Or something else…?


General symptoms are very hard to treat. Specific symptoms become easier…


So finding the deeper root cause of your pain is going to make it much easier to overcome…


Don’t worry, you do not have to figure this ALL out right now… This is to simply plant the seed, and get you contemplating some deeper truths…


Often this is where we need support… Tracking subconscious patterns, emotions and trauma is near impossible to do alone. Guidance from a healer, mentor, or professional can speed up our healing exponentially.


Here are some questions for you to dig deeper. Grab a journal or notepad, and explore these before continuing…


  1. (Pain question) When did this ____________ first begin for me?



  1. What was my first memory of feeling this? How old was I, and what was happening in my life?



  1. (Pain question) What triggers this ___________ in my daily life?



  1. (Pain question) Describe in detail all the feelings related to ____________.



  1. (Pain question) The top 3 things in my daily life that drain my energy are _________.



  1. (Pleasure question) If I no longer felt (Pain_____), What would I like to feel instead?



  1. (Pleasure question) In a perfect world, how would I feel 3 months from now (Mentally, Emotionally, Physically & Spiritually)?



  1. (Pleasure question) I feel the most connected, joyful and present, when I am ____________.



  1. (Pleasure question) The top 3 things in my life that I love more than anything is…



  1. (Pleasure question) The top 3 things in my daily life that fill me with enthusiasm are ____________.



These questions are designed to get the wheels in your mind turning… Feel free to add your own questions, or expand on these. Journaling is very helpful during your microdosing journey.


The idea is to gain clarity in your life… Remember, that healing happens when we change the way we live.


Therefore it is important to understand what in our life is not working, and what is causing the most pain…


Setting a good intention is all about being Truthful.


When we can see the Truth with open eyes, then we can actually do something to change it…


“Doing something to change it…” is all about your positive desired outcome… This is why your intention is your guiding north star. It is highly advised to create your desired outcome as an internal, felt experience…


For example, really contemplate… What would it FEEL like to live each day with Joy?


How would your life be different…? How would you treat your co-workers, friends and family?


This is key. The best intentions are feeling based… This is what helps change our energy.


Time To Set Your Intention


Now that you have deeper clarity on what you’re letting go of… And you know what you’re moving towards. We can create your intention.


I see a lot of people making intentions like this… “I am microdosing because I don’t want to be anxious.”


or “I just want to stop suffering every day…”


These intentions are less than ideal because they are focused on the negative…


What we focus on, we create. So it is far wiser to create a positive intention. Here are some examples… I encourage you to make them your own, based on what’s coming up for you.


“My intention is to live from Joy each and everyday”


“My intention is to connect & integrate the highest & best version of myself, & to release anything blocking this from manifesting."


"My intention is to become aware of & to release that which is blocking me from _____________"


Sometimes simple is best too:


“My intention is to be free.”


“My intention is to embody joy.”


“My intention is to live everyday with peace.”


“My intention is to live from my heart.”


Remember, Nothing is Permanent… Including your Intention…


Your intention is not meant to stay the same. It is meant to evolve and change with time… So try not to overthink it. Just start with something, and move forward from there.


Something I like to suggest as well is for people to create 2 intentions.


A General Intention and a Daily Intention.


What is the general intention for your microdosing journey…? And for your life in general? This intention will stay “generally” the same for the foreseeable future.


Your daily intention may change depending on your inspiration. This means… As you dive into your process of healing, different things arise.


For example, you may spend some time integrating your inner child. Therefore, your daily intention may shift to focus on that for a while…


One way to think of it is like sailing a ship.


You are the sailboat… The wind is your daily intention. It changes depending on the weather.


Your final destination is your General Intention. It stays fairly constant… However depending on the weather, your route may slightly change.


Your daily intention is meant to leave room for spontaneity and inspiration.
